- 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning

- 175ml of chicken stock
- 1 tbsp of cornflour (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tbsp of water (optional, for cornflour paste)
- 90g of low-fat soft cream cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken
- Prepare the chicken mixture: Place the chicken breasts, honey, wholegrain mustard, Italian seasoning, crushed garlic, fresh basil, and chicken stock in the slow cooker. Stir the mixture thoroughly to combine all ingredients. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
- Cook the chicken: Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on high for 3 hours. This allows the chicken to become tender and fully absorb the flavors of the honey mustard and herbs.
- Thicken the sauce (optional): If a thicker sauce is desired, mix the cornflour with 1 tbsp of water to form a paste. Stir this paste into the slow cooker about 30 minutes before the end of the cooking time to help thicken the sauce.
